How will my order be shipped?
Australian orders are shipped express via Australia Post & international orders are shipped via DHL Express. Please click here for expected international delivery times.
How can I exchange my order?
If you would like to exchange your item, YCL Jewels will offer a gift card for the full amount, less shipping costs. To receive a gift card all pieces must be returned within 14 days of receiving & must be undamaged, unworn & without any scratches etc. Postage back to YCL HQ is the customer’s responsibility. Postage costs on any returns received will not be reimbursed, this is non-negotiable.Due to hygienic & sanitary reasons, we are unable to offer any return or exchange on earrings.
How will my order be packaged?
To lessen our carbon footprint & work towards making YCL as sustainable as possible, when multiple treasures are purchased, each piece will be packaged appropiately in one box to ensure safe travels (along with a few other goodies we gift to you). Please let us know in the notes section at checkout if you do require more boxes.
How long does a 'pre order' item take to ship?
Due to some of our pieces selling out very fast, pre-order items enable our customers to secure their piece before our stock arrives. If you have ordered an item that is pre-order, please click the 'shipping' tab on the product page to see the date your order is due to ship. If you would like to find out anymore information on your order, please email email@example.com.
Does YCL have a warranty?
Yes we do, all of our pieces come with an 8 month warranty.
I didn't receive an order confirmation?
If you haven't received an order confirmation email, please check your junk mail, or email firstname.lastname@example.org as the email provided may be incorrect.
Does ycl offer silver items?

The item I want is out of stock?
If the item you are wanting is our of stock, please click the 'email when in stock' button to be notifed when it is due to arrive back in stock. Or email email@example.com to see when it is due to be back in stock.
Does YCL offer a repair service?
Yes we do, however this service is only applicable to treasures that fall within the 8 month warranty & require repair due to manufacturing fault, not personal wear & tear.
Can I have my piece repaired by a 3rd party?
Any repairs or tampering of your piece by a 3rd party will void the YCL 8 Month Warranty, as well altering the design in any way. If your piece has been damaged by personal wear & tear, this is not covered under our warranty.
What actions is YCL taking to becoming more sustainable?
Developing ways to minimise our carbon footprint is a priority for the YCL team. We believe as a product-based business we have a responsibility to ensure we are working towards the most sustainable practices in our office, studio and production. This is something that cannot happen overnight and we have implemented a three-month plan to start incorporating greater sustainability practices in the studio. Once this is running effectively we will be implementing it across packaging, manufacturing and design. Our practices have always been based in being sustainable and mindful of the environment, however, ongoing research has shown there is more we can be doing and we look forward to keeping you updated on our journey as we reach critical milestones in this process.
I am buying for a gift, I don't know what to choose?
We have alot of partners buying gifts for their loved ones, & we find that the same questions are often asked when it comes to buying a gift. We wanted to make the act gift-giving YCL as seamless as possiblef for, & have put together this post to hopefully answer some questions. We also offer a our Chat To A Stylist service, by which you can converse with our in-house stylist Emily, whom will help you choose the perfect piece for you or your loved one. And lastly, if you are still unsure we do also offer gift vouchers.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
We do offer gift wrapping, & it's free! All you need to do is leave the note "please gift wrap" in the notes section upon checking out. Please note: We try to keep our carbon footprint as minimal as possible, so we do not use wrapping paper. Instead we tie beautiful ribbon around our branded box & add in some littel goodies, to save you the trouble, & to minimise our carbon footprint as much as possible.
Can I add a note into my order?
Definitely! We love hand writing love notes to friends, family & loved ones. Please indicate what you would like your note to say in the notes section at checkout.

What materials are used in the designs?
14k Gold Fill
Gold Fill is not plated, it indicates jewellery with a thick layer of 14k solid gold, that has been pressure bonded over sterling silver.
925 Sterling Silver
Our silver pieces are made with 0.925 Sterling Silver, which is solid silver mixed with another metal.
18k Solid Yellow & Rose Gold
Solid gold is a precious metal, & indicates a piece that has been made 100% solid gold.
Platinum is a precious metal, & is the most durable metal available, it has premium longevity. This metal is silver in colour.

How can I find my ring size?
Here is a simple chart we created, showing the UK & US sizing, as well as the fingers diameter. If you are still not sure as to what sie you may be, we would suggest visiting your local jeweller to have your finger sized, to ensure the best fit.

How do I store my pieces?
We reccomend when not wearing your YCL pieces, either store them either in the boxes & pouches provided. Or, to avoid tangling of the fine chain, we reccomend doing up the clasp, & hanging your piece off a manniquin, on a necklace stand, or a trick is to use a coat hanger & hang all your pieces off it.
How do I untangle my necklace?
The best way to untangle your necklace is to lay your piece down on a light-coloured, flat surface, with the knot or tangle easily exposed. Use either a tooth pick or safety pin, & gently poke it through the knot. Slowly & gently pry the knot apart, if there is tension on the chain, the knot will not easily come apart, that is why the chain needs to be relaxed on a flat surface. Once you find the direction of the tangle from opening it up a bit, the knot will slowly come undon & release.
Do YCL pieces contain nickel?
All YCL pieces are nickel free.

Does YCL do custom designs?
YCL Jewels is currently not taking on any more bespoke & custom designs, however we do have made to order ceremonial collection available here.
Does YCL make engagement & wedding rings?

How long will my ceremonial ring take to ship?

Does ycl offer engraving?
YCL does not offer engraving services, however YCL pieces with a larger surface area are perfect to have engraved by a 3rd party.
Does YCL offer payment plans for ceremonial rings?
